-Anime & manga-
Anime & Manga has affected me greatly in me life. They have many interpretations, (i went to a few webbys to check @-@) but to me, I think Anime means Japanese animation and Manga mean Japanese comics. The first time I was exposed to Animation was the time Ch 8 started the saturday goggles programme where a few Japanese shows will be played. Goggles broadcasted Slam Dunk and Cardcaptor Sakura. I was fascinated by how real "cartoon" can be. The great storyline & artwork of the Animations captured me into the Anime world. I started to lookout for Anime thingys outside, looking for figurines and stuff. Haha then i saw the Cardcaptor Manga! So i collected it.(I liked the Anime cardcaptor Sakura very much though its sortof girly :p) Then from then on i visit the comics shop occassionally, exposing myself to more manga as i do so. I started to collect Hong Kong comics as they always have a free gift, a mini sword(letter opener) which is featured in the comics.(I go for the sword not the comic :P) More and more, I started downloading more Anime and buying more Manga (i collect manga becoz when I arrange them all on the shelves its very neat and nice) Then there was a year when I watched Miyazaki's(a very famous person for his works in anime, check him out!) Spirited Away. Can't forget the story and scenes no matter how Dory(Finding Nemo). From then on i know Im addicted. I am Until now the addiction won't stop.
Here are some of the nice Anime i have watched(recommended) : Cardcaptor Sakura by clamp.
Studio Ghibli's works by Miyazaki. Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. Initial D by Shuichi Shigeno. There are actually many more to name but I guess these are the better ones.
