Wildlife is beautiful isn't it? Animals roaming freely in the open grasslands and stuff? (I assume all have seen such scenes la) But...
Did u know?
Like us, animals have biological needs and experience pain, stress and discomfort. Many are intelligent and feel complex emotions like joy, happiness, depression and distress. Studies show that they have family bonds and feel true compassion for each other. But what they can't do is speak for themselves. So humans feel justified in treating them as mere objects.By pretending that animals don't suffer, that they can't feel pain, that they have no real need or desire for freedom, to procreate naturally, to mother their young or even to experience pleasure by lying in the sun, it is easier for people to use them purely as commodities and ignore their suffering.So every year billions of them are captured, imprisoned, neglected, abused and slaughtered for human ends. They are used for everything from entertainment and sports to consumer product testing and food. If animals don't have a say in their treatment, then
it is up to all caring human beings to give them a voice, speak up on their behalf and end their abuse.
Poor Animals being abused by the dreadful money faced monsters, the traders and poachers. I was werking in kopitiam that day on the 3rd of november and saw this little counter with a few people standing there like selling things, after a closer look I knew that they are actually people trying to raise awareness on saving the precious wildlife. After werk I fed the cats and went over to their counter and took some leaflets(spello?), then they told me they are from ACRES, The Animal Concerns Research and Education Society, a non-profit society set out to save the wildlife. Haha I helped out a little by donating $14 to them, exchanging the cash into a Tee with a message of saving wildlife on it, so that i could wear a message and spread it. Nice Ba. Haha Remember to save Animals mi friends...
